To initiate prompt pick-up of an outgoing shipment, submit an online Service Request form, attach a copy of the completed form to the parcel, and place the shipment in the mail room. A Service Request form is not required for Campus Mail.

Personal Use Shipping Services
Logistics offers outbound domestic parcel shipping for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees.
Please bring your package to University Stores, 166 Service Rd. to ship using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Shipping hours are 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and cash, check, and credit cards are accepted.
There is no office pickup service for personal packages. We cannot accept
- international shipments
- hazardous materials
- less-than-truckload shipments
- illegal items
- articles of unusual value (including, but not limited to, cash and jewelry)
Other restrictions may apply.
Logistics Central Receiving manages all of the university's inbound shipments. Carriers have been instructed to stop at Central Receiving regardless of the shipment's final campus destination. Prior to delivery, freight is inspected, identified, and designated for final delivery.
Shipments received bearing a valid MSU purchase order number, contract order, open order release, or credit card order number are processed and distributed the same day or next business day. UPS, FedEx, and perishable shipments are sorted, processed, and distributed to recipients the day of receipt.
Shipments labeled with the recipient and building name will help ensure accurate parcel delivery.
Note: Central Receiving accepts CODs that cover shipping charges only—we do not cover the cost of the product being shipped.
